Pieta Challenge Belfast to Waterford Walk
I was delighted and honoured to be part of the local physical therapy team that helped fundraiser extraordinaire Enda O'Doherty complete the Pieta Challenge Belfast to Waterford Walk in June 2015.
The local De La Salle College teacher succeeded in carrying a washing machine from Belfast to Waterford in aid of Pieta House over the course of eight days, raising funds to help continue and expand their services dealing with suicide and mental health awareness.
The physical therapy and sports massage team who accompanied him along the way also comprised Des O'Meara PhTh, David Brazil PhTh, Trish Orphen PhTh, and Aisling Stokes & Sarah Hayes, sports massage therapists.
